The AFP senior liaison officer in the Philippines, Richard Stanford delivered a bag of clothes to the hospital in IBA. The hospital had a groups of volunteers from Australia conducting cleft plate surgery this week. Richard gave the clothes to many children recovering in the hospital. He said “the gifting of the clothes was very moving, certainly puts things in perspective. I had the story on the tag translated as the item was gifted, the kids loved it.” Read more about the Helping Children Smile organisation here.
