Today was massive for our organisation and U4K program.

We would like to thank our supporter Pacific Ford Sunshine Coast for donating a Ford Escape to assist with Uniforms 4 Kids, and the community for donating sewing goods such as Velcro, fabric, buttons etc. The Ford Escape will be used to transport re-purposed clothing and materials from partners of Uniforms 4 Kids, such as the Australian Federal PoliceAmbulance VictoriaQueensland Fire and Emergency Services – QFESAustralian Border ForceQueensland Police ServiceNorthern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services and Australia Zoo to the volunteer sewing network. We can’t thank Pacific Ford Sunshine Coast enough for providing us with this great car and look forward to the future of U4K.

The pioneer and founder of Uniforms 4 Kids, Yvonne Pattinson OAM, intended only to clean out a cupboard crowded with material. To date, the charity has supplied over 6000 items of clothing to children in need.

“This is such an amazing concept. Not only do they ensure that all of the old uniforms don’t end up as land fill, their amazing sewing network are able to transform them into incredible kids clothing.” commented Craig McPherson, Dealer Principal, Pacific Motor Group.

“To have Pacific Motor Group as our vehicle sponsor is exciting for us and will allow so many more children who have a need receive our unique clothing, no matter where they are or who they are.” Mr Glenn Ferguson AM Chair, Uniforms 4 Kids
